Studio, the home of all things Harry Potter. As the name suggests, this event is dedicated to the darker side of the films and He Who Must Not Be Named in particular. Throughout October, visitors to the studio can feast their eyes on original costumes and props, master the art of wand combat, duel with a Death Eater, and be scared silly as background music grows ever more foreboding the further you walk down Diagon Alley. There is no additional cost for the Dark Arts events, which are included in the price of entry to the studio. Boo At The Zoo (October 21^st – October 31^st) Discover the dark history of the London Zoo and all the supernatural sightings that have occurred there at the spooktacular family fun event Boo At The Zoo. This event runs every day throughout the last ten days of October. Children are encouraged to participate in crafts such as pumpkin carving, dressing up, spell casting, dancing, and meeting some of the zoo’s creepiest creatures. The fee is the price of entry to the zoo, plus a small additional charge for pumpkins. Big Fish Little Fish Halloween Spooktacular (Saturday, October 27^th) Pioneering family ravers Big Fish Little Fish are bringing techno, house and drum ‘n’ bass to Vauxhall this Halloween weekend, so your little ones can bop till they drop while dressed as their favourite spooky characters. A family event unlike any other, it is designed with children up to 8 years old in mind, so the real fear of the day will be of all those terrible twos running around! Zombie Pirate Ship Party (Saturday, October 27^th) Boarding at Westminster Pier at 7:45 PM you’ll find two decks of fun unlike any other aboard the Zombie Pirate Ship Party. Monster mash yourself silly on the Thames until midnight, then make your way back ashore for an after party that could wake the dead. Ministry of Sound Halloween Rave (Wednesday, October 31^st) Ravers are being warned to ‘expect the unexpected’ during the Ministry of Sound Halloween Rave at 103 Gaunt St as “synchronised murder visuals” and “bleeding LED walls” spook up the night. A wide range of dance music from 10 DJs across four rooms is expected to get the blood pumping for 2,000 costumed clubbers. Entrance is from 10 PM onwards, with tickets costing between £6 and £20.
