London's West End The Area… It is no secret that London’s West End is the chief commercial and entertainment centre of the city. From the shopping of Oxford Circus, Regent Street and Bond Street to the entertainment of Leicester square and Covent Garden not to mention the sprawling green spaces including Hyde Park. The Attractions… Attractions are a plenty for city breaks in the West End including Art galleries such as the stunning National Gallery and The Royal Academy of Arts.  Plus plenty of museums like The British Museum, London Transport Museum and lesser known but just as fun Pollock’s Toy Museum. The Theatre… It would be unthinkable to visit London’s West End and not see a show.  Whether it is a big hit or smaller independent show, it is worth it.  My personal favourite is the show ‘Once’. The Accommodation… As this is a popular area to stay, there is plenty of accommodation and lets face it London can be one expensive place to stay.  There is lots of choice from hotels, B&Bs, hostels and serviced apartments in London’s West End. Don’t get me wrong there are some wonderful hotel rooms and they are perfect for one or two nights.  However for longer stays serviced apartments can offer more and are therefore more value for money whatever the budget whether economy, middle or luxury – you get more.  Savings of up to 30% can be made by staying in serviced apartments in London’s West End making them a smart choice for families, groups and of course those on business. The Connectivity… The area itself could not get more Central London therefore it boasts superb transport connections to other areas of London if you wish to visit them.  There are plenty of underground stations around the West End as the area itself is big. The major station hotspots include Oxford Circus, Covent Garden, Piccadilly Circus and Leicester Square. You can also taxi, bus, cycle or walk it. The Shopping… Selfridges is a must see as well as a walk down Regents Street for luxury stores.  Carnaby Street and Berwick Street are fantastic boutique shopping areas.
