Most of London’s best museums are 5 minutes’ walk and Hyde Park is in easy walking distance.

With striking garden views from both the spacious and elegant Lounge and from the rear facing bedrooms, it is hard to believe that the apartment is just 4 minutes’ walk from Harrod’s store and other exclusive shopping in London’s Knightsbridge.
It’s a short walk from some of London’s main museums – Natural History Museum, Science Museum and Victoria & Albert Museum – and in walking distance of Kensington Palace and Gardens, Hyde Park and the Royal Albert Hall. London’s main sights – Buckingham Palace, Westminster, Piccadilly Circus, Trafalgar Square, Covent Garden, London’s theatres, the Tower of London and much more are easily accessed quickly and direct from either Knightsbridge or South Kensington tube stations – both a short walk from your apartment.
Your classically elegant apartment has hardwood flooring throughout – in the Lounge and Bedrooms whilst the hallway, with signature black and white tiling, typical of houses of the period, in the kitchen and hallway. As you open the door of the apartment, you will sense the elegance throughout from the feature mirrored hallway with its striking chandelier.
You are greeted by a spacious Lounge with a large sofa and 2 very striking classic armchairs as well as a very large, low coffee table and a decorative fireplace (no longer in use). Beyond these, are the floor to ceiling windows, with elegant drapes, which make the Lounge so bright by the dining table and chairs for 4 and which provide the view across the balcony to the small but very attractive garden area in Egerton Place. You can step out onto the balcony to enjoy the lovely view. The apartment has a flat screen TV and Freeview Channels and Free WiFi were installed on 8th December 2016.
The attractive Master Bedroom also has large windows overlooking the garden of the property as well as small buildings behind. The spacious bedroom features a Queen size Bed with Egyptian Cotton sheets, plenty of space around, a large, built-in wardrobe and a stunning marble ensuite bathroom with classic bathtub and hand shower fittings.
The second bedroom is equally striking. Also facing the rear and really quiet, it also looks towards the rear garden and discreet buildings beyond. Front facing, it is light and has a Double Bed.
The Second Bathroom is cunningly hidden behind the mirrors in the hallway and features a good size modern shower cubicle.
A good quality floor mattress can be provided for the 5th guest, fully fitted with linen and with towels provided, of course.
The kitchen is very well equipped with up to the moment appliances, including a Bosch electric hob, Bosch oven, microwave, refrigerator, Bosch dishwasher and Bosch washer/dryer. There is a kettle, toaster and ample cookware, crockery, cutlery, glassware and everything else you may need to remain fully independent during your stay in London.
Knightsbridge is one of the most exclusive residential areas of central London and it’s really not hard to see why. Some of the best stores in London are on your doorstep and Knightsbridge is also a very central spot for getting around the rest of this great city.
If you enjoy museums, there are some of London’s best in this area – just a short walk down Brompton Road for the Natural History Museum, Science Museum and Victoria & Albert Museum.
London is famous for its parks and Kensington Gardens and Hyde Park (essentially one park) are in easy walking distance.
However, Knightsbridge was once just a village outside London and it still retains some of the atmosphere from those earlier days in side streets of mews houses, garden squares and some lovely, very individual shops and restaurants. They can be a bit pricey but they are a unique experience.

The immediate area of your apartment has numerous small shops, restaurants and coffee shops. There is a choice of Marks and Spencer, Little Waitrose and Sainsbury’s Local, all within 3 minutes’ walk and some open from 7.00 a.m. up to midnight. If you decide to go out to eat, you will find yourself spoilt for choice from the wide range of restaurants and coffee shops close by.
Do make sure to slip down the side streets around your apartment where you will find the village atmosphere of Knightsbridge still alive and well. There is a beautiful garden square moments from the entrance to your apartment and several mews and streets of small, very individual shops and restaurants that you just will not find anywhere else.
South Kensington underground station is 5 minutes’ walk from your apartment and has the Circle, District and Piccadilly Lines – so you can take the train here direct to and from London Heathrow Airport as well as direct to Victoria for the Gatwick Express, Liverpool Street for the Stansted Express and King’s Cross/St. Pancras for trains to Luton as well as trains to Paris, Brussels and elsewhere. There are direct routes to most of London’s main sights, shopping areas and theatres with many just a few minutes’ away from the station. You also have Knightsbridge underground station 5 minutes’ in the other direction from your apartment and which has the Piccadilly Line.
On check in, we require the photo ID of the person who paid for the reservation and sight of the card used for the stay. If this person is not a guest, their photo ID must be e-mailed to us ahead of arrival and the photo ID of the lead guest must also be shown.
Your apartment is in a building shared with other tenants and guests. Please be very considerate of them.
