Hyde Park is 15 minutes’ walk away and the apartment is also located in walking distance of Hyde Park Corner, Green Park, St. James’ Park and Buckingham Palace. If you are not keen on walking, trains from Sloane Square or Knightsbridge stations will take you quickly to all of these places and many more, mostly direct. London’s Theatres, Piccadilly Circus, Covent Garden, the Tower of London and arrival and departure points, such as London Heathrow and St. Pancras International are on a direct line from Knightsbridge Station.
Set in a row of elegant Georgian houses, alongside the entrance to your apartment is a lovely mews, typical of this part of central London and a relic from a time gone by. Located in a quiet residential street, despite the Ground Floor location, you will have no concern at all about noise, as your apartment has extremely effective wide spaced double glazing. Your apartment is bright throughout because of high ceilings and windows and the private patio accessed from the bedrooms on the Lower Ground Floor.
The very spacious Lounge has an elegant sofa and several chairs in a mix of classic and modern furnishing, also exemplified in the dining table and chairs for 6 guests. A large flat screen TV is recessed into one wall. The chaise longue is a great way to relax upstairs in the Lounge also being a very comfortable extra bed option for a child. A quality airbed is an alternative solution to cater for a 5th guest. The whole apartment has elegant dark wood paneling and floors throughout – a clear sign of the luxury experience you will enjoy throughout. If you are visiting on business, the Lounge is also a great place to work, using the Free WiFi provided.
The Master Bedroom has a Queen Size Double Bed and french windows opening out onto the private patio for those warmer days when relaxing in privacy outside is attractive. There is also plenty of wardrobe and drawer space. A doorway leading to the en suite bathroom seems simple and leaves you entirely unprepared for what you will find after walking down the corridor. The en suite bathroom opens up to reveal his and her wash basins, WC and bidet and a stunning sunken bath, easily also used as a shower. The bath has very comfortable seats and mirrors all around, as well as a selection of Asian inspired statuettes, making this a truly exceptional place to relax and really unwind, soaking away the day that went before.
The second bedroom also has a Double Bed and also has french windows opening out onto the private patio so that, indoors and out, you will not be separated from your family or friends in this unique and exclusive apartment. The second bathroom is a smoked glass shower cubicle with rain shower and hand shower. The Ground Floor heating comes from central heating radiators whilst the Lower ground Floor has very effective under-floor heating throughout..
The galley style kitchen is laid out under the staircase down from the Ground Floor and the underneath of the staircase has been made into a feature of this area. The kitchen is very well provided with a hob with both gas and electric stands, conventional oven, grill oven, microwave, refrigerator, freezer and dishwasher. Naturally, the kitchen also has a good provision of pots and pans, cooking utensils, crockery, cutlery and glass – everything you need for your stay. There is also a washing machine with separate dryer and iron and ironing board.
There are, of course, coffee shops and restaurants in the many top London hotels in the immediate area of your apartment but the wider choices of coffee shops, restaurants and the supermarkets you may need can be found a short walk away in Sloane Square and King’s Road, Chelsea or in Knightsbridge. In both places, you will find a wide range of options and a wide selection of cuisines in different restaurants types.
