Close to the floor to ceiling glass balcony doors, is a desk and chair for work or simply for keeping in touch with friends and family at home. The balcony is narrow and has a restricted view but the floor to ceiling glass doors ensure that the lounge and dining area alongside always stay bright.
The dining area has a cottage style table and chairs for 6 which sit in front of the very well equipped kitchen provided with a Bosch hob, oven and a large Bosch fridge/freezer, there is also a microwave, toaster, kettle dishwasher and washer/dryer. The white, modern kitchen keeps the whole area bright. Cooking utensils, crockery, cutlery and glass are all provided.
The Master Bedroom is a good size and has a queen size Double bed – newly purchased to replace the original bed – along with ample built-in wardrobes and an en-suite bathroom with rain shower and hand held shower. There is space enough in this bedroom to place a quality airbed for a fifth guest but this can alternatively be placed in the spacious lounge.
The Second Bedroom also has a new queen size Double bed, wardrobe and bedside drawers. The second bathroom leads off the hallway of the apartment and features a modern bath tub with shower over as well as other modern fittings.
The area retains much of the village atmosphere reflecting the origins of South Kensington, Knightsbridge and Chelsea. Draycott Avenue and Sloane Avenue, close by, contain a number of fascinating shops and restaurants as well as a spa. At the junction of Draycott Avenue and Brompton Road you can find some major brands, such as Chanel and Stella McCartney as well as The Conran Shop. Bibendum Oyster Bar occupies the iconic Michelin Building at the top of Sloane Avenue. Close by in Sloane Avenue there is a Sainsbury’s Local supermarket, as well as a Starbucks. But you do not need to go there for coffee. Baker & Spice moments from the door of your apartment offers good coffee, tea and pastries as well as serving a very good breakfast, lunch and dinner featuring organic foods.
