The location is also a few minutes’ walk from London’s main museums – the Natural History Museum, Science Museum and Victoria & Albert Museums – and in walking distance of the Royal Albert Hall, Kensington Palace and Gardens and Hyde Park. Other major sights, such as Buckingham Palace, Westminster, Whitehall, Piccadilly Circus, Trafalgar Square, London’s famous Theatres and the Tower of London are easily reached by direct tube from Knightsbridge or South Kensington stations in a few minutes, in most cases. For shopping, High Street Kensington is one stop away and Regent Street, Bond Street and Oxford Street can easily be reached via Piccadilly Circus, direct from Knightsbridge.
Set in a portered block facing Brompton Road, you will sense the luxury the moment you walk into the lobby of the building, which has a brand new lift to all floors. The Ovington Elegance, on the sixth floor, has individually controlled air conditioning, a really light, spacious lounge with two large, luxurious sofas, coffee table, a 45 flat screen TV, satellite channels, superb cinema surround sound audio system, Bose iPod dock, Blu-Ray and DVD player, an individual router for the free WiFi and free broadband. The apartment has double glazed windows in bedrooms, so, although it faces Brompton Road, it is very quiet.
The master bedroom is spacious and everything that you would expect it to be. There is a large, mirrored wardrobe and ample drawer space. The Large Queen size Double Bed looks and feels incredibly comfortable to sleep on. The luxury bathroom is en-suite and includes both rain shower and hand-held shower.
The second bedroom continues the luxury theme with the stunning double bed, very large mirrored wardrobe and much more. Street facing double glazed windows make the room very bright. There is a desk and chair for working on a laptop or tablet and. On the bedside, there is an iPod dock in the base of the light. The second equally luxury bathroom is just across the hallway and comprises rain shower and hand-held shower.
The third bedroom is a very comfortable Single room with en-suite bathroom. Rear facing, it is particularly quiet and the very comfortable bed is raised on a small pedestal. The apartment washing machine and dryer are also in the room behind the bedroom door but are quiet in operation.
The kitchen includes everything you need: Bosch appliances: oven, hob, microwave, dishwasher, toaster, kettle and coffee maker. You will also find an excellent supply of saucepans, crockery, cutlery, glassware – basically everything that you need for a wonderful London stay with the independence that a serviced apartment gives you.
Off Brompton Road, the Knightsbridge area retains the atmosphere of a village. A typical London garden square sits a moment away from your apartment and the area is characterised with mews houses, small shops and exclusive restaurants. There is a choice of 3 supermarkets within 2 minutes’walk and ample pharmacies close by. The apartment building has a large Costa Coffee shop on the ground floor.
