If the grand piano didn’t interest you, try some light reading on one of the many sofas. There’s a 24 hour concierge available for help with luggage and security. The apartment, accessible by lift, is on the first floor of a seven-story building. There are wide carpeted hallways giving a very comfortable hotel feel. The entranceway to the apartment is somewhat spacious with a nice chair to help you put your shoes on. The living room has seating for four. There is recessed lighting in the ceiling around the perimeter. There’s a 50 inch Samsung HDTV, with high speed internet for your entertainment. There is central heat and air conditioning throughout. A small balcony for two is accessible from the living room.
The bedroom has a queen size bed with headboard and is nothing short on closet space. There are three full sized mirrored closets that illuminate the closet contents and dresser drawers when opened.
The kitchen has ample workspace on the marble counters. It is fitted with Miele oven and electric hob, with dishwasher, wine rack, and full size refrigerator. Amenities range from Nespresso machine, knife block, kettle and four slice toaster.
Temple is located in the city of London, technically a city within a city. Its roots trace back to the Roman era as seen at London Wall. The city of London has a separate governance than the rest of the city. The boundaries of the city bear black bollards with the City’s emblem and by dragon boundary marks at major entrances including Holborn.
The Temple Gardens, right off Temple Avenue are an excellent stroll or an afternoon picnic. Natural Kitchen, Hilliard, Jamies wine bar, The Harrow, Hack & Hop, The Tipperary, and The Old Bell Tavern are blocks away. Many other restaurants, shops and pubs can be found slightly further off on Fleet street.
Temple tube station, three blocks away, makes connections to the Circle and District Lines. Blackfriars station, five blocks away, makes the same connections, as well as to Thameslink and Southeastern trains.
