Mayfair Mayfair has been long esteemed as a major shopping district in London’s sumptuous West End playing host to Regent Street, Oxford Street and Bond Street with a host of world renowned department stores, designer boutiques and tailors of Saville Row. You can always have a break from walking around the stores in one of the lavish restaurants or exclusive bars close by. Chelsea Chelsea is full of posh clubs and cafes with delightful gastronome surrounding a decedent collection of boutiques and art galleries frequented by the fashionable locals and stylish tourists. Knightsbridge The home of Harrods one of the world’s most luxurious and well known stores. The area oozes fashion with plenty of stores and boutiques to spend money. There is a high sophistication in the air with the refined buildings, high end restaurants and fashionable residents. Notting Hill This chic part of London is home to colourful and diverse Portobello Road Market made more famous in the film Notting Hill. The surrounding traditional houses are charming and owned by wealthy locals but although this area is brimming with designer boutiques it is also host to vintage and less known names. The eateries are similar ranging from high end restaurants to eating on a budget. The local gardens are striking and there are quirky finds to be found. It is also home to Notting Hill Carnival as this area is full of vibrancy. Brick Lane This area is different to the areas such as Knightsbridge, Chelsea, Mayfair and Notting Hill as this area is not home to luxury department stores. But rather it is home to a pleasant shock to the senses with lots of vintage boutiques, converted art galleries, quirky bars and Brick Lane Market which on a Sunday makes a joyful experience with all sorts of antiques, clothing, weird and wonderful objects and food from every possible place you can think of. Covent Garden Covent Garden is a prime location for the shopper and is perfect for those who love fashion. The market is full of arty finds. You can choose great food from the local eateries and Covent Garden has streets and streets of vintage shops, boutiques and brands. Westfield Stratford City If you fancy doing all of your shopping under one roof, the Westfield Stratford City is great for a range of shops from low end budget stores to high end brands. There is a great cinema to relax in after a hard days shopping and plenty of food both quick snacks and delicious restaurants. You get a cracking view of the London Olympic Stadium to boot.
