Convenient if you’re in North London, The Fore in King’s Cross is a fantastic all-rounder gym with fitness studio sitting alongside a co-working space; perfect for many of our business travellers. There are lots of different classes which you can enjoy from boxing and yoga to general fitness and strength. Here you’ll find fabulous equipment from rip trainers to free weights and Skillmill running machines. The changing rooms are spacious, clean and have private showers and toiletries to grab, so the whole experience is great.
4. DW Fitness First: Tottenham Court Road
Everything you need in a gym, DW Fitness First on Tottenham Court Road is definitely one of the best gyms in London. This is popular with Londoners and is very much a cross-trainer’s classic gym allowing for easy movement from cardio to weights. 8. FLEX Chelsea
Buy a fortnight pass if you’re here for a flying visit, or sign up for even better savings, but FLEX, as its name suggests, is all about flexibility. With a focus on yoga, barre, and Pilates, you’ll find that they also offer a tonne of spin classes and HIIT options.
What we really love about FLEX is its light and airy feel – that’s not guaranteed in London gyms which are often found in basements, so it’s refreshing and welcome here.
9. Virgin Active: Kensington
We feel it could offer longer weekend hours, but if you’re a work-week worker-outer then Virgin Active in Kensington will be just fine. There’s lots of equipment here ensuring that you’ll never have to wait too long and it’s definitely got a club-like feel.
Found right near to High Street Kensington, this is convenient for you whether you want a swim or a HIIT session, a spot of weight training or a relaxing session in the steam room and sauna. They’ve even got Reformer Pilates equipment and trained instructors on site.
Again for our London business travellers, there’s a co-working space and café here too, making business trips in the capital that bit easier.
10. UN1T
With two London sites, one in Holburn and one at London Bridge, UN1T are a fun and popular choice for many in London. UN1T put the science at the heart of all that they offer and you can expect to see tangible improvements in mobility and endurance as a result.
