The London Dungeon The London Dungeon is highly rated by visitors for a number of great reasons. As soon as you arrive you will enter a journey through London’s gruesome past with rats, rotting corpses and all the trademarks of the plague ridden streets of London’s past while meeting some questionable characters such as famous barber Sweeney Todd, Guy Fawkes and the terrifying Jack the Ripper. There are two rides to get the blood pumping, one being a boat ride down a sewer towards execution and a ride which drops you in the pitch black. It is great for a family day our or fun with with friends but is best avoided by young or easily frightened children. Halloween at Fortum and Mason You can take part in a fun pumpkin carving competition at London’s famous store Fortum and Mason. Pumpkin lanterns have been a part of Halloween for a long time but how many of us think we could put our carving skills to the test? The best thing about it is that you could win a crate of delicious sweets and the winner will gets £1,000 Fortum and Mason Hamper. Kids aged 10 and under can take part in the children’s competition from 3pm – 5pm on Wednesday 31st October, while everyone over the age of 11 can take part in the adult competition from 6pm – 8pm. If you don’t want to take part, you can stock up on a range of sweet treats all ages can enjoy at one of London’s premier establishments. Halloween tour/ supper at Royal Naval College This historic London Greenwich venue is hosting tours and special events for Halloween. On your lantern lit tour after dark you will hear of ghostly encounters and then following this have a robust dinner with wine and the menu including traditional bangers and mash in the painted room, eerie!
